In Friday's league match, the visiting Farwell Steers basketball team scored a decisive 66-30 triumph over the Bovina Mustangs.

In their next game, the Steers meet the Boys Ranch Roughriders (Boys Ranch, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 match, on Friday, February 3. Farwell will attempt to move on its 20-4 season record.
