January 27, 2023: Calais, ME 04619 In Friday's non-league outing, the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), by a count of 76-61.
The Blue Devils (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles go into the C North outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, George Stevens Academy defeated Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME), 62-43, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Penquis Valley for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30. Schenck will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 56-30 league win over Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Patriots record now stands at 6-7.
