Maine High School Basketball - Penobscot Valley fells Schenck
January 9, 2023: Howland, ME 04448 Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), 50-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Penobscot Valley upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Howlers host Greenville (Greenville, ME) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Greenville lost 36-30 in their recent non-league bout against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Schenck will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 53-31 non-league loss to Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME).
