Maine High School Basketball - Schenck holds off Greenville
January 6, 2023: Greenville, ME 04441 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) and the host Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME), saw Schenck's basketball squad hold off Greenville by a tally of 37-32.
With the victory, Schenck improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to confront the Howlers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Howlers come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Penobscot Valley won 56-31 in their recent league challenge against Stearns (Millinocket, ME)
Next up, the Lakers confront the Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Greenville will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to Valley (Bingham, ME).
