Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE), 41-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Centura upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Boone Central (Albion, NE) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 12-5.

Next up, the Bluejays play the St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Ravenna will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
