Georgia High School Basketball - Lithonia can't hold off Chamblee
January 27, 2023: Chamblee, GA 30341 The Chamblee Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Lithonia Bulldogs to 56 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to M.L. King for a AAAAA Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 31. Chamblee will meet a Lions team coming off a 57-55 league loss to Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-18.
With the defeat, Lithonia moves to 15-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA) to meet the Saints in a non-league match on Saturday, January 28. The Saints enter the match with a record of 13-6. Cedar Grove lost 91-56 in their recent league match against Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA)
