Georgia High School Basketball - Lithonia holds off M.L. King
January 24, 2023: Lithonia, GA 30058 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lithonia Bulldogs (Lithonia, GA) and the visiting M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA), saw Lithonia's basketball squad hold off M.L. King by a tally of 51-44.
With the victory, Lithonia improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Chamblee (Chamblee, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Chamblee lost 58-44 in their recent league challenge against Decatur (Decatur, GA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Arabia Mountain Rams (Lithonia, GA) in a AAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 27. M.L. King will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 96-60 league loss to Tucker (Tucker, GA).
