The Thornridge Falcons basketball team (Dolton, IL), was nudged 54-48 in Friday's league battle with the host Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL)

The Warriors now possess a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloom for a Southland battle on Friday, February 3.

The Falcons (6-18) will now prepare for their battle against Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Wildcats come into the Southland battle with a 11-10 record. In their last battle, Thornton edged Brooks (Chicago, IL), 64-60, in a non-league battle.
