January 27, 2023: Eagle River, AK 99577 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) and the host Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), saw Service's basketball squad overcome Eagle River by a tally of 64-44.
With the victory, Service improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to confront the Mustangs in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-6.
Next up, the Wolves confront the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Eagle River will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 65-54 league win over South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK).
