The Lone Oak Buffaloes basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Edgewood Bulldogs to 44 in the Buffaloes league victory on Friday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 5-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairiland for a 3A Region II District 12 contest on Wednesday, February 1. Lone Oak will battle a Patriots team coming off a 56-51 league win over Edgewood (Edgewood, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 21-3.

The Bulldogs (15-13) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX). The Indians come into the 3A Region II District 12 contest with a 15-12 record.
