In Friday's league match, the visiting Huntingdon Bearcats basketball team scored a good 57-49 triumph over the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers.

In their next game, the Bearcats meet the Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) in a Mountain match, on Monday, January 30. Huntingdon will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 10-6 record after their 76-39 league win over Clearfield (Clearfield, PA).
