The Tyrone Golden Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Huntingdon Bearcats to 39 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greater Johnstown for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Tyrone will meet a Trojans team coming off a 91-65 league win over Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-0.

The Bearcats (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Bison enter the Mountain contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Clearfield triumphed over Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA), 46-43, in a league contest.
