Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) and the visiting Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC), saw Wake Forest's basketball squad knock off Knightdale by a count of 55-43.

With the victory, Wake Forest upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host Wakefield (Raleigh, NC) to play the Wolverines in a 4A Conference 27 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Wakefield won 58-54 in their recent league challenge against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) in a 4A Conference 27 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Knightdale will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 93-47 league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).
