Georgia High School Basketball - Lambert nips Milton
January 27, 2023: Milton, GA 30004 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lambert Longhorns (Suwanee, GA) and the host Milton Eagles (Milton, GA), saw Lambert's basketball squad hold off Milton by a tally of 68-67.
With the victory, Lambert improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Longhorns host South Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to play the War Eagles in a AAAAAAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-14. South Forsyth lost 51-39 in their recent league challenge against Denmark (Alpharetta, GA)
Next up, the Eagles play the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Milton will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 66-40 league win over Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC).
