The Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN) basketball nipped the visiting North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN), 44-42 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bombers (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Hebron (Hebron, IN). The Hawks enter the non-league match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Hebron was nipped by Westville (Westville, IN), 53-44, in a non-league match.
