Rhode Island High School Basketball - North Providence crushes St. Patrick Academy
January 27, 2023: Providence, RI North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Patrick Academy Padres (Providence, RI), 74-45 in a league bout.
With the win, North Providence upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Cougars host West Warwick (West Warwick, RI) to play the Wizards in a Division 3 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Wizards go into the bout with a record of 10-4. West Warwick won 56-51 in their recent league bout against Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI)
Next up, the Padres play the Davies Career & Tech Patriots (Lincoln, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Patrick Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 56-51 league loss to West Warwick (West Warwick, RI).
