Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Schuylkill Haven nips Tri-Valley

Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes (Schuylkill Haven, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA), 61-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Schuylkill Haven upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Hurricanes host Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA) to play the Red Raiders in a Schuylkill County 2 bout on Monday, January 30. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional lost 43-41 in their recent non-league bout against Sullivan County (Laporte, PA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA) in a Schuylkill County 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Tri-Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 63-52 non-league loss to Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA).
