January 27, 2023: New Waverly, TX 77358 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) and the host New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX), saw Anderson-Shiro's basketball squad knock off New Waverly by a tally of 54-39.
With the victory, Anderson-Shiro improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Fighting Owls host Trinity (Trinity, TX) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-13.
