Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), 68-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Cherokee upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Braves travel to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 1A Conference 43 - Big bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Hayesville won 63-51 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC)
