The Fredonia Lynx basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Ash Fork Spartans to 15 in the Lynx league triumph on Friday.

The Lynx now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Canyon for a 1A Canyon contest on Saturday, January 28. Fredonia will battle a Phantoms team coming off a 33-28 league loss to Ash Fork (Ash Fork, AZ). The Phantoms record now stands at 12-8.

The Spartans (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Williams (Williams, AZ). The Vikings enter the 1A Canyon contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, Williams triumphed over Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 56-50, in a non-league contest.
