South Dakota High School Basketball - Little Wound overwhelms Bennett County
January 27, 2023: Kyle, SD 57752 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) and the visiting Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD), saw Little Wound's basketball squad wallop Bennett County by a tally of 63-34.
With the victory, Little Wound improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.
Next up, the Warriors play the Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Bennett County will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 52-39 non-league win over Gregory (Gregory, SD).
