South Dakota High School Basketball - Little Wound overwhelmed by White River
February 10, 2023: White River, SD 57579 The White River Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Little Wound Mustangs to 20 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sully Buttes for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. White River will battle a Chargers team coming off a 48-44 non-league win over Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 14-2.
The Mustangs (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD). The Sioux come into the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Lower Brule triumphed over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD), 72-36, in a non-league contest.
