Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Durant Wildcats (Durant, IA), 57-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Tipton upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to play the Golden Hawks in a River Valley - South bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a record of 12-5.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) in a River Valley - South bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Durant will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record.
