Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), saw Williams Field's basketball squad wallop Higley by a tally of 46-23.

With the victory, Williams Field improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Black Hawks host Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ) to confront the Cougars in a 5A San Tan challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-17. Casa Grande lost 69-30 in their recent league challenge against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)

Next up, the Knights confront the Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) in a 5A San Tan challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Higley will attempt to improve on its 7-15 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 18-7 record after their 69-30 league win over Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).
