Georgia High School Basketball - Union Grove overwhelms Ola

January 27, 2023: McDonough, GA 30252

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) and the host Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA), saw Union Grove's basketball squad wallop Ola by a tally of 61-24.

With the victory, Union Grove improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Clarke Central (Athens, GA) to play the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a record of 3-19. Clarke Central won 47-43 in their recent league challenge against Loganville (Loganville, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Ola will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 62-26 non-league win over Houston County (Warner Robins, GA).
