Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA), 50-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Jones County upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Greyhounds host Crisp County (Cordele, GA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Crisp County won 77-28 in their recent non-league bout against Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Ola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 76-15 league loss to Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA).
