In Friday's league match, the host West Potomac Wolverines basketball team scored a tight 36-33 triumph over the Robinson Rams.

In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) in a District 4 match, on Tuesday, January 31. West Potomac will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 54-47 league loss to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA).

Next up, the Rams confront the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) in a District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Robinson will attempt to improve on its 15-2 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 75-56 league win over Woodson (Fairfax, VA).
