The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Ashe County Huskies to 17 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Huskies (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record.
