Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) and the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), saw Alexander Central's basketball squad wallop Hibriten by a tally of 56-13.

With the victory, Alexander Central improves its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Freedom lost 46-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Watauga (Boone, NC)
