January 27, 2024: Aberdeen, SD 57401 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD) and the visiting Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD), saw Aberdeen Christian's basketball squad hold off Waverly/South Shore by a tally of 36-34.
With the victory, Aberdeen Christian improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to North Central (Eureka, SD) to play the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. North Central won 59-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND)
Next up, the Coyotes play the Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Waverly/South Shore will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 62-50 non-league win over Mitchell Christian (Mitchell, SD).
