Texas High School Basketball - Lubbock Christian overwhelms Calvary Academy
January 27, 2024: Denton, TX 76209 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) and the host Calvary Academy Lions (Denton, TX), saw Lubbock Christian's basketball squad wallop Calvary Academy by a tally of 72-41.
With the victory, Lubbock Christian improves its record to 20-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX) to confront the Patriots in a TAPPS 3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-20.
Next up, the Lions confront the Trinity Chargers (Midland, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Calvary Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record.
