South Dakota High School Basketball - Washington nips Jefferson
January 27, 2024: Sioux Falls, SD 57110 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD) and the visiting Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD), saw Washington's basketball squad hold off Jefferson by a tally of 58-55.
With the victory, Washington improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Brookings (Brookings, SD) to play the Bobcats in a AA challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Brookings lost 68-55 in their recent league challenge against Mitchell (Mitchell, SD)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) in a AA challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Kernels come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 68-55 league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD).
