The Hoover Huskies basketball team (Clendenin, WV), was overwhelmed 88-30 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV)

The Minutemen now possess a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Fairmont for a Big Ten battle on Tuesday, January 30. Lewis County will confront a Bees team coming off a 90-41 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Bees record now stands at 14-0.

The Huskies (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Capital (Charleston, WV). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 0-8 record.
