Maine High School Basketball - Old Town overwhelms John Bapst Memorial
January 27, 2024: Bangor, ME 04401 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) and the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME), saw Old Town's basketball squad wallop John Bapst Memorial by a tally of 62-29.
With the victory, Old Town improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Washington Academy (East Machias, ME) to confront the Raiders in a B North challenge on Monday, January 29. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Washington Academy lost 52-35 in their recent league challenge against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME)
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) in a B North challenge, on Monday, January 29. John Bapst Memorial will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Ponies come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 45-22 league loss to Hermon (Hermon, ME).
