Florida High School Basketball - Meadowbrook Academy overwhelms Cornerstone Academy

The Meadowbrook Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Cornerstone Academy Cougars to 31 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Beaches Chapel for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Meadowbrook Academy will confront a Lions team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Temple Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Lions record now stands at 14-8.

With the loss, Cornerstone Academy falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Cedar Key (Cedar Key, FL) to confront the Sharks in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Sharks go into the game with a record of 9-11. Cedar Key won 50-42 in their recent non-league game against First Christian (High Springs, FL)
