The Cornerstone Academy Cougars basketball squad (Gainesville, FL), was crushed 57-22 in Thursday's league battle with the host Meadowbrook Academy Mustangs (Ocala, FL)

With the victory, Meadowbrook Academy advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Countryside Christian (Gainesville, FL) to meet the Minutemen in a non-league battle on Friday, December 20. The Minutemen enter the battle with a record of 3-2. Countryside Christian lost 66-54 in their recent non-league battle against Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL)

The Cougars now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redeemer Christian for a 1A District 4 battle on Friday, January 3.
