The Evadale Rebels basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Danbury Panthers to 40 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now have a 13-16 record. They play next when they travel to West Hardin for a 2A Region IV District 25 outing on Friday, January 30. Evadale will clash with a Oilers squad coming off a 53-37 league win over Deweyville (Deweyville, TX). The Oilers record now stands at 5-14.

With the loss, Danbury falls to 13-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX) to confront the Sharks in a 2A Region IV District 25 game on Friday, January 30. The Sharks go into the game with a record of 18-6. Sabine Pass lost 68-66 in their recent league game against Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX)
