The Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX) basketball crushed the host Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX), 95-27 in Friday's league challenge.

The Rebels (16-18) will now prepare for their challenge against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Oilers come into the 2A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 7-17 record. In their last challenge, West Hardin was routed by Deweyville (Deweyville, TX), 48-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Sabine Pass Sharks (Sabine Pass, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 25 battle, on Tuesday, February 17. Danbury will attempt to advance on its 14-18 season record. The Sharks enter the battle with a 23-6 record after their 40-36 league win over Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX).
