The Cougars now possess a 24-8 record. They play next when they host Weslaco for a 6A Region IV District 31 outing on Friday, January 30. Edinburg North will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 68-43 league win over La Joya (La Joya, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 22-9.

The Jaguars (13-15) will now prepare for their outing against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX). The Bears come into the 6A Region IV District 31 outing with a 13-15 record. In their last outing, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo was overwhelmed by Edinburg (Edinburg, TX), 75-52, in a league outing.
