The Van Vandals basketball team (Van, TX), was nudged 55-50 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Wills Point Tigers (Wills Point, TX)

The Tigers now possess a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mabank for a 4A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, February 1. Wills Point will battle a Panthers team coming off a 38-28 league loss to Canton (Canton, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-11.
