In Saturday's league outing, the Canton Eagles (Canton, TX) basketball squad beat the host Van Vandals (Van, TX), by a count of 53-37.

The Eagles (25-8) will now prepare for their outing against Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX). The Bears go into the 4A Region II District 14 outing with a 22-7 record. In their last outing, Brownsboro defeated Wills Point (Wills Point, TX), 53-41, in a league outing.
