January 28, 2023: Annawan, IL 61234 The ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL) basketball nipped the host Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL), 51-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Stark County (Toulon, IL). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Stark County got by Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL), 58-40, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 10-14 record. They play next when they host Monmouth United for a Lincoln Trail test on Tuesday, February 7. Annawan will encounter a Red Storm squad coming off a 71-45 non-league loss to Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Red Storm record now stands at 11-12.
