Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clay County Panthers (Clay, WV), 90-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hoover upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Sissonville (Charleston, WV) to play the Indians in a Cardinal bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Sissonville lost 52-37 in their recent league bout against Poca (Poca, WV)

Next up, the Panthers play the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) in a Little Kanawha - East bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Clay County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
