Georgia High School Basketball - Dutchtown holds off Eagle's Landing
January 28, 2023: Hampton, GA 30228 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA) and the visiting Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA), saw Dutchtown's basketball squad hold off Eagle's Landing by a tally of 54-52.
With the victory, Dutchtown improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Union Grove (McDonough, GA) to confront the Wolverines in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Union Grove won 85-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Clarke Central (Athens, GA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Eagle's Landing will attempt to improve on its 21-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 50-34 league loss to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA).
