The Locust Grove Wildcats basketball team (Locust Grove, GA), was overwhelmed 85-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA)

The Eagles now possess a 22-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Grove for a AAAAA Region 2 battle on Friday, February 3. Eagle's Landing will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 68-66 league win over Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 15-9.

The Wildcats (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Demons come into the AAAAA Region 2 battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Warner Robins trounced Northside (Warner Robins, GA), 73-71, in a non-league battle.
