The Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) basketball crushed the host Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), 59-37 in Saturday's league test.

The Longhorns (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE). The Bulldogs go into the C1 District 12 test with a 17-0 record. In their last test, Bridgeport walloped Bayard (Bayard, NE), 77-16, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mullen for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Hershey will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 41-35 non-league loss to Twin Loup (Sargent, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 5-8.
