In Saturday's league outing, the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) basketball squad nipped the visiting Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), by a margin of 50-43.

The Silver Hawks (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Warriors go into the A District TBD outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Omaha Westside got by Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE), 52-47, in a league outing.

The Dragons now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lewis Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 31. Gretna will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 75-43 league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Titans record now stands at 12-3.
