Texas High School Basketball - Aspermont triumphant over Paint Creek
January 28, 2025: Aspermont, TX 79502 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Aspermont Hornets (Aspermont, TX) and the visiting Paint Creek Pirates (Haskell, TX), observed Aspermont's basketball team overwhelm Paint Creek by a margin of 63-33.
The Hornets (13-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Rule (Rule, TX). The Bobcats come into the 1A Region II District 15 challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last bout, Rule was ripped by Jayton (Jayton, TX), 95-13, in a league bout.
With the loss, Paint Creek falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host Rule (Rule, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 1A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, January 31. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Rule lost 95-13 in their recent league bout against Jayton (Jayton, TX)
