The Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Herscher Tigers to 37 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Clifton Central for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Wilmington will confront a Comets team coming off a 65-56 league win over Donovan (Donovan, IL). The Comets record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Herscher falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Tigers host Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29.
