In Friday's non-league contest, the host Seneca Fighting Irish basketball team scored a big 56-29 triumph over the Wilmington Wildcats.

The Fighting Irish (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers go into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Coal City smashed Somonauk (Somonauk, IL), 57-34, in a non-league contest.
